What is different about the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1?
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 has some of the same core capabilities found in our other purification machines. The air purifier fan heater can capture a wide range of particles and VOCs, including PM2.5 and PM10.
The machine also benefits from app connectivity. Pairing your device with the MyDyson app lets you monitor your home’s air quality from anywhere, set schedules, and more.
What smart home features are enabled by pairing my purifier to the MyDyson app?
Connecting your machine to the MyDyson app means you can control your purifier without lifting a finger. Using your smart purifier is even quicker and easier with a compatible voice service such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technology enabled, it allows for voice control, scheduling, product registration and product support.
Developed for iOS and Android, the MyDyson app also gives you access to air quality data inside your home, and external air quality data for a chosen location.
How often should I replace my air purifier filter?
We recommend replacing the 360° Combi HEPA and Activated carbon air purifier filter every 12 months. That's because over time, filters can get clogged with pollutants, and even let unpleasant odours back into the room. You'll be notified via the MyDyson app or LCD screen when it's time to replace the filter.
