DirtDetect senses dirtier areas with more debris, detecting even hidden dirt, and automatically increases suction, vacuuming in a figure of eight pattern to take multiple passes over the mess. Cleans until no more debris is detected.

EdgeDetect uses blasts of air to pull debris out from edges and corners, into the robot’s cleaning path and FloorDetect senses floor types and optimises performance for carpets and hard floors.

After each clean the Shark PowerDetect will empty itself into its anti-allergen, bagless base.
