The tado Smart AC Control is your Climate Assistant that ensures a comfortable and healthy climate at home, whilst helping you save on your energy bill.

Easy to install
The tado Smart AC Control connects to your Wi-Fi and is easy and quick to configure, with no wiring needed. It can be mounted on the wall or placed elsewhere if desired. It works with remote-controlled air conditioners over IR - just like your old remote. It is compatible with air conditioners and heat pumps with an infrared remote control that displays the air conditioners current settings (e.g. mode, target temperature and fan speed), be it a split, multi-split, in-window or portable unit from all manufacturers.

Easy to use
The tado app enables you to control your air conditioner / air-to-air heat pump from anywhere, as well as providing insights and reports about your home climate, and shows you the energy savings made by tado. The tado Smart AC Control is compatible with Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant, meaning you can control your AC / air-to-air heat pump with your
voice, as well as integrating it into routines with your other smart home devices.

Features:

• Geofencing: Never cool an empty home. Based on the residents' location, tado notifies you to turn off your air conditioner / heat pump when the last person has left home or to start cooling or warming the house before you arrive. You can automate this Skill with Auto-Assist.
• Open Window Detection: Dont cool a room if there is no need - the tado Smart AC Control V3+ notices an open window and lets you turn off the air conditioner effortlessly, saving you energy.
• Weather Adaptation: tado adapts the way it cools using the weather forecast. On cloudy days your home will be cooled less than on sunny days, reducing energy consumption.
• Air Comfort: tado helps you to achieve a healthier indoor climate, with insights and specific advice. The Air Comfort Skill shows real-time indoor air freshness and provides information about humidity levels, so you can see if a room has a risk of developing mould. Additionally, you get an overview of the local outdoor air quality and the current pollen forecasts. So you know when, and for how long, to open the windows.
• Smart Schedule: Simply choose your desired day and night time temperatures. Set up your individual smart schedule, as simple or as complex as you need it to be. It only activates if somebody is home. You can also customise the settings.
• Auto-Assist: For even more comfort you can automate these Skills with Auto-Assist (available in-app, 2.99/month, 24.99/year). Without subscription you are alerted via a push notification to turn off your cooling.
