Troplong Mondot 2022 is firmly established in the TOP 4 of Saint-Emilion wines and in the TOP 16 of Bordeaux wines. The 2022 was born of extremes, and has given us the best, with a particularly strong identity. From the 2022 vintage onwards, to continue our journey towards carbon neutrality by 2050, pewter capsules will be replaced by sealing wax.Multidimensional, serene, deep, precise, triumphant, voluptuous - these are just some of the adjectives used by the wine editors to describe our vintage. Troplong Mondot has confirmed its position at the very top of the appellation.

Tasting Notes:

The wine offers a vibrant yet refined fruit profile. It possesses a certain richness and the palate features elegant floral hints of violet, leading into a finish marked by a distinct mineral saltiness. Although the tannins are substantial, they are delivered through a texture that feels remarkably smooth, with a delicate, fine-grained mouthfeel.

Serving Suggestions:

This wine pairs beautifully with hearty, sophisticated dishes such as Wagyu beef fillet, slow-roasted leg of lamb with rosemary, or a rich truffle-infused venison. It also complements earthy flavours like porcini mushroom ragù or a selection of well-aged hard cheeses.
