Sylvain & Béatrice Bzikot own an impressive estate of 15 hectares centred on Puligny-Montrachet. Sylvain's grandfather arrived in Burgundy from Poland just before the Second World War and steadily built up the domaine in the post-war years when land was plentiful. In 2023, Sylvain harvested from 3rd to 10th September and has made an impressive range of rich, harmonious wines that show both depth and finesse.
Made from fruit sourced just outside the communes of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. One-third fermented in barrel and the remainder in stainless steel vats, to retain fruit as well as developing richness and complexity.
Tasting Notes
This wine contains ripe, rich fruit with a creamy texture and a touch of oak. The crisp lemon and stone fruit, is balanced with aromas of white flowers and subtle vanilla spice.
Pairing Notes
Pairs well with seafood or white meat and great as an aperitif.
